If you’re a Stephenie Meyer fan looking for a way to pass the time between the final book release in the saga last week (Breaking Dawn) and the Twilight movie in December (although it’s never too early to grab that sleeping bag and start forming a line outside the theater), check out the Breaking Dawn game that was hooked up to celebrate the latest release.
It’s basically a shell game that challenges your eye speed and reflexes. But it’s been given a Twilight visual treatment, so you get to choose which of the characters to follow – Bella, Edward, or Jacob (represented as chess pieces) – and then track them against a full moon. Hmm…you’d think Jacob the werewolf would have the advantage, no?
The game also includes audio clips from the series. And there’s a top 20 leader board that keeps track of the high scores…of which I’m nowhere near approaching.
The upside is that you don’t need to know anything about the series to play. The downside is that like all shell games, it can be addictive. Especially if you’re trying to crack the leader board and/or challenge friends to beat your score. But remember: that line for the movie won’t start forming for at least a couple of weeks.

2710 is as high as I got. My eyes ain’t what they used to be. Great fun though! And I love the audio clips!
Funny you should post this. I just had lunch with Stephenie and Terry Brooks a few hours ago.
Perhaps a link will work:
