“Luke Skywalker and the Shadows of Mindor”
…. Really? I thought we aged out of the ‘and the’ titles with the ending of the Harry Potter series…..
Amusing thought.
Sometimes with titles you can see the evidence of several departments at the publisher trying to figure out the best way to market a book. Having Luke Skywalker is great marketing, but it also lengthens the title drastically since it is a long name. Ya gotta have the Shadows of Mindor since that is what the book is about, but that too is long. Put both together: You get one LONG title with that “and” in there. haha
Every so often a Star Wars title has that organization to its title. I’m sure there will be others.
