I had the chance to invite Mr. Weber to an author chat event I was coordinating when I worked in South Carolina. I remember it being one of the most engaging and interesting talks about science fiction, world building, and digital publishing that I had heard and remains near the top of the list today. What shocked me then was how prolific the man is; at the time, he was writing three books (this is me pulling from memory and may not be accurate, but I think that I’m right about this). Anyway, he was an absolute joy…and his fiction is pretty darned good too. I’m glad to see his cover up here.
