Brandon sounds like a great guy - I'm a total jackhole for not going to this. That'll just make next trip much more sweet. :) Anyway, I'm about halfway through The Gathering Storm (I had to finish up Knife of Dreams) and it's probably the most fun I've had with the Wheel of Time in a long long time. I'm confident that the book would have been just as fun had Robert Jordan been able to write it, but I must say I really appreciate Brandon's passion for the series.
