Every year around spring and the holiday season, Terry Brooks and I try to host an online chat.
Why twice a year?
Well, to be honest, Terry loves to keep in touch with his fans. He may not be able to respond to daily emails from them—the inundation would swamp him and he would not get any writing done—but he understands he must be there from time to time to answer questions that pop up with the publication of new books.
And since Terry has a lot of irons in the fire at the moment with his fans interested in them, it should be a fun chat. I have no doubt the fans will ask about the status of the Shannara and Landover movies, what the setting and storyline is in the forthcoming Bearers of the Black Staff, and what Terry is currently working on. I am sure there will be a few people asking about other writers, the state of the publishing industry, and what Terry thinks about the current ebook growth trend.
