Nebula Awards finalists announced!

Here at Del Rey we’re delighted that China Miéville, one of our favorite authors and the shining literary star of our list, has just been named a Nebula Award finalist for The City & the City. In my opinion this novel is one of China’s absolute best; each of us of course has our own favorites, but mine happen to be The Scar and this one. China’s creation of two cities who share a streetscape but nothing else, and the murder mystery that wraps the two together, is brilliant. Read. Enjoy. (And if you’re a SFWA member, vote!)
Congratulations to all the award finalists, which are listed on the Science Fiction Writers of America site here. The winners will be announced May 15 at a ceremony to be held at the Hilton Cocoa Beach Waterfront, Cocoa Beach, Florida.
