The handsome Rin and his assistant Alpha (a stuffed bunny brought to life) run the Yume Kira Dream Shoppe, a mystical store where “any dream can be made true.” This tween take on the xxxHOLiC formula (the Dream Shoppe looks suspiciously like the house of the witch in xxxHOLiC) consists of four wistful paranormal romances: a tree falls in love with a human boy, a girl enters the dreams of the boy she likes, etc. The stories have their good moments, but they’d be much cleverer if they didn’t have such poorly thought out deus ex machina happy endings. The art is nice; full of twinkles and sparkles like Arina Tanemura, but clearer.
