A series of four short stories, Bond(z) runs the gamut from sweet to vulgar to fanciful. The title story, the strongest one in the volume, involves the drawn out, complicated relationship between two sexually voracious college students. The art is proficient, if sometimes a bit dull, as the main characters of each story look remarkably similar. However, Kawai’s heartfelt stories and clever dialogue make the shortcomings in the artwork forgivable. (Review by Leia Weathington)
