A collection of stories mainly revolving around sexual humiliation games with an anal fetish, HEAT manages to avoid being creepy by not focusing on pain and tears. Instead, it keeps a surprisingly consensual attitude despite exploring the usual territory of “training” and women tossed aside and left to the mercy of games of men. The sensuality evident on the cover is carried through the entire book. The art is clean, simple, and powerful but it doesn’t pander to the normal hentai fetishes of enormous breasts and various taboos.
