365 Days of Manga, Day 189: Juicy Fruits

Despite featuring the usual hentai manga cast of ridiculously large-breasted women having wanton sex with their students, teachers, brothers, coworkers, or really anyone who walks by, Juicy Fruits manages to remain fresh and surprisingly light, largely due to its sense of humor and lush artwork. Women are full-bodies and full lipped, flesh looks like flesh (if exaggerated), and characters are unique and visually distinctive. It never takes itself too seriously, either, which prevents the darker stories from being too uncomfortable, although the story about the grade-school kid sexually “training” his masochistic mother and teacher definitely crosses a line. Personally, I think p*rno manga would beat Dumbledore in the Cage Match but lose in the final rounds against The Gunslinger.
