I hardly need an excuse to absolutely geek out and talk about Dungeons & Dragons here at Suvudu, but Great Cthulhu bless ‘em, Wizards of the Coast has gone and given me a perfect reason to do just that: Worldwide Dungeons & Dragons Game Day, March 20.
I’m a hardcore D&D player, and I’ve chucking dice (that’s with more than six sides,
DiapDealer) since grade school, but only recently did I decide to take my love of the game to the next level with a new tattoo.
This isn’t my first tattoo, but it is my first gaming-related one (How many do I have? Only my wife knows for sure.) I went with a d20 – that’s a twenty-sided die for you non-gamers – on my bicep. I’ve had a lot of different reactions to it, but good or bad, the only person that I did it for was me.
I know for a fact that I’m not the only tattooed gamer, and I’m calling you out. If you’ve got some gaming ink, share them us at Suvudu! Email me your photos directly at mattormeg (AT) gmail (DOT) com. Next week I’ll take the best ones and post them here. There might be prizes, too!
Meanwhile, keep your eyes on Suvudu all this week for lots of fresh Dungeons & Dragons content, including interviews, reviews and other cool stuff!
Ha Ha!!
Sorry dude. I’m from an age where D&D’ers hid in chess club meeting-rooms and closets. It’s going to take a lot for me to get used to this whole “I’m chaotic-neutral and I’m proud!” movement… but I swear, I’ll try harder to not make fun of alternative lifestyles. ;-]
LOL! No offense taken! I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to take a swipe at you.
Roll your arm, ROLL IT! Looks like a nat 20 to me.
“I just couldn’t miss the opportunity to take a swipe at you.”
I’d expect nothing less.
