Greg Bear, the multiple Hugo and Nebula award winning author of City at the End of Time (and many others), was a recent interview subject of Reddit.com’s users. Reddit allows its users to submit questions in an open thread to be used as interview fodder for a variety of subjects. The videos below are the result of these efforts. It’s a cool way to allow the fans to get in a few questions and watch the authors answer though video.

Greg Bear is the author of more than twenty-five books, which have been translated into more than a dozen languages. He has been awarded two Hugos and five Nebulas for his fiction. He is married to Astrid Anderson Bear, and they are the parents of two children, Erik and Alexandra.

Greg is one of the best orators I have listened to. I see him at events every year, and ever year he is mesmerizing. Since I am a sciency guy, his more biological novels hit me best, Darwin’s Radio being a masterpiece.
