Reading a new book from a favorite author is priceless.
The next best thing though, in my opinion, is meeting the author in person!
Author Naomi Novik will be touring this July for the release of her new Temeraire novel, Tongues of Serpents. It isn’t a long tour but hits some of the main cities in the United States. I’m excited to see she’ll be at the San Diego Comic Con this year. So many fans from around the country who attend that international pop culture event will be able to meet Naomi and have books signed!
Which is always fun. Always worth the time.

If you have the chance to see Naomi on this tour—even if you have to drive an hour or two to see her—definitely do it. Make the plans and make them early! She is great at events. She always brings a smile and witty humor, and she signs as many books as needed.
