Without Warning by John Birmingham

The SF/techno/futurist blog Io9 recently ran a feature on this fall’s most highly anticipated SF/fantasy titles. And lo, John Birmingham’s After America led all the rest. “Interesting geopolitics, incredible action, and pirate battles make this a perfect end-of-summer read,” the copy reads.
