I would have to say a cross between Wolverine and The Punisher Frank Castle because both are pretty bad ass actully and have quite messed up pasts I have almost evey issue of the Wolverine comics and i enjoyed them very much learned a lot about his past and ect. Frank is just really cool cuz he is not a mutant or anything special just a bad ass with a sad past but thats who i like hope i get a book LOL
SPIDER-MAN is the coolest ever. Period. Amen.
Tchalla the former Black Panther, Norrin Radd the Silver Surfer, Thor Odinson, Shang-Chi MOKF,
Laura – X-23.
Top 5 for me
either wolverine,or the hulk
Ben Grimm is my favourite…why? Because i have had a lifelong struggle with physical problems.. As a child I was born with scoliosis and loose ligaments. I was in pain constantly and had to have multiple surgeries. I also spent alot of my childhood in childrens hospital in pittsburgh for asthma. In my teens i developed heart problems with a weak valve, and since 2000 i have passed 43 kidney stones and was recently diagnosed with kidney failure with back and pelvic neuropathy. I am in pain now 20 hours out of the day. But i think of Ben Grimm when i am going through my pain…he is my focus and role model.. I think of all the trials and tribulations he goes through being transformed into a hideous rock creature with incredbile strength but with a heart as big as a whale. I know The Thing is ficitonal, but his impact on me ALWAYS helped and still does…as a kid i was picked on and used humor to deflect the insults (much like Ben does self depricating humor). And recently when i went under the knife for a 2nd pacemaker placement the last thing i thought of before i drifted off was the thing, and i just silent said myself to sleep as a mantra “its clobbering time, its clobbering time”. When i was able to work for a living before job interviews i would repeat that mantra again and again. I met Stan in 2009 and i told him, thanks to stan lee i never had to do drugs or drink to escape my pain, because i could just read my fantastic four comics to escape into a whole other world! And i told him about my love of the Thing and why…and Stan Replied with tears in his eyes “wow that just warms my heart!” 2nd ONLY to the day when i married my wife, meeting Stan was the greatest day of my life!
KORVAC
the Thing. a balance of strength and vulnerability, of loneliness and friendship, the Hero and a victim. He’s always been my favorite.
I’d have to I am more comparable with WOLVERINE,in terms of often being a true loner. In ironic way,me and him would work well together and thats why he is my comicbook hero!
My absolute favorite is Spider-man. I love how he is able to crawl on walls, shoots webs, and enhances super strength. I would say I am the ultimate spidey fan, but I’m not obsessed.
I am a HUGE Marvel fan. Almost everything I have is Marvel, from video games to action figures to bed sheets to posters. My favorite villain has to be Venom. He is the dark side of Spider-man, it adds an epic twist to the culture.
My favorite has to be blue print for every teen super hero…and the first teen non side kick leading man that is Peter Parker.
Rick Jones as Hulk side kick and Captain-Marvel and Bucky Captain America side kick.
My favorite Marvel character is Galactus.
One of my all-time favorites has always been Dr. Doom. This is mainly because he isn’t evil in the conventional sense. He sees the world in all of it’s problems and feels he can correct them. Through his rule. His “evil” is in that he wants to do what he honestly feels is best for the world, whether they like it or not. It’s really not very difficult to argue in his defense.
I think Wolverine is the best Marvel character, followed closely by Gambit, Rogue, and Jubilee, with Spider-man coming in fifth.
Hulk is my favorite Marvel character. Hulk likes beans. I like beans. Hulk smash! I would smash if I could but I have to stick with the beans.
FAVORITE CHARACTER OF ALL TIME IS CAPTAIN AMERICA, HE SYMBOLIZE FREEDOM AND AND THE AMERICAN WAY..AND OF COURSE ARMY STRONG…
I started reading Marvel Comics in the early 70’s, and to this day, my favorite – although I love them all – is still Spidey. To me, no one exemplifies the true heart of a hero more than him.
Captain America and Daredevil are my favorites. Captain America has always symbolized the protector of the American dream to me. Daredevil is the undying character and strength of the handicapped. Both were an inspiration to me growing up.
The Thing. He’s never the strongest. He is more intelligent than most people think (Is a college graduate after all). He always had tremendous heart.im
I collected Marvel Comics since the age of 6 and the first character I loved was on the pages of Werewolf By Night.the tales of Jack Russell and his adventures stuck with me throughout the years. All the monster titles like Tomb Of Dracula,The Living Mummy,Man-thing and The Frankenstein Monster were faves to me.I later got into all the superhero Marvel titles and still enjoy the cartoons and movies to this day and I can hardly wait until the Avengers movies come out. Peace from Cosmic Joe :0)
My favorite marvel character is Tony Stark (Ironman). hes got a lot of the same characteristics as me (except for being rich and a genious). But one of the biggest reasons hes my favorite is the suit. i would LOVE 2 have the Ironman suit. Even a replica of the suit would be awsome, but just 2 have that kind of power n knowlage would be great. Even if it comes with big responsability.
Spider-man is my favorite Marvel character. Always has been, always will be. He’s my favorite because he’s the most complex comic book character I know. Peter Parker feels like a real person to me. You never really know what he’s going to do. He could fight the Hulk to protect the city or say, “You know what, I don’t want to spend the rest of my life in a wheelchair, I’m outta here.” Both responses would be in character so he’s always interesting to watch. I’m also fascinated by how he always thinks of himself as a loser no matter how many good things happen to him – a very human characteristic that we can all relate to.
Iron man is the greatest, because of the fact that he is the most realistic character to date. If you think about it probably sometime in the near future it may be possible that iron man may really be the REAL THING.
I took some guff over this but I would have to say that Deadpool is the perfect favorite hero I would like to meet. I know that the possibility of a “real Deadpool” is more than a mere coincidence, but I think it’s what makes him my favorite. I know that he, not unlike myself and every single man, woman, and child is not perfect if they were born human and also born here. Hands down he is my favorite because he is an imperfect, materialistic, bad-habit exploiting, wise-cracking C.I.A. trained assassin who will save you, your significant other, immediate family, extended family, family you can and can’t stand, and the family pets if he sees it as a means to an end for his nemesis that would kill you and all you care for because you were in the way or in the wrong place. So yes I am aware that Deadpool may be a Marvel Comic Hero, but there might be a C.I.A. trained assassin out there who is not perfect but gets the job done just in time to make it to the nearest watering hole for a couple of drinks to ease the pain he or she feels physically, mentally, and for the unknown pain they have inflicted to the targets, marks, and the unseen victims created by a trained human killing expert. They are not machines because they were born from D.N.A. and will pay the debt that all humans will pay at some point in the future, weather it be the near or distant future.
My all time favorite marvel character is Spider-Man. In fact he’s my all time favorite superhero. Nuff Said
Gambit by far…then Punisher, Wolverine, Omega Red and Mr. Sinister..
I’m going to chose as my all time favorite character Adam Warlock, who as I see is the most
inigmatic character to have ever been created at Marvel and in somes eyes very controversial.
But that’s not why I chose him, as a teen I found him to be the most intresting of all the marvel
heroes. He had more depth, more layered and esoteric. A character with some much promise.
Born into the world with no direct path, who could have more than easily could have become a villian but chose the good path. I found in him…myself
The Hulk , for one reason alone. When faced with the possibility of the Leader stealing the Absorbatron, Bruce Banner’s weapon defense sheild , his mind grew clear as he yelled, “Must destroy Banners machine!”, “No matter what, Leader must never get machine!”Even later, as the Leader launched a missile that would start World War Three, the Hulk once again rose to the challenge, “If I don’t break free, millions will die in war!”, he declared, finally defeated him , and stopping the missile that would have destoyed the world. The Hulk has always risen to the occaision when the Earth was threatened , and perhaps , that was always Banner’s destiny, the real reason he had to become the Hulk , to be the great green guardian angel , of our great green planet.
Moon Knight… After all he has the high tech, money and he has lost his mind.
Dr. Strange, without a doubt.
Havok without a doubt. He’s got great powers, amazing character potential, and always has amazing costumes. I’d have to say he’s one of the most underrated character. He’s conflicted because he’s truly a character who never wanted to be a super hero or one of the most powerful beings on the plant. But when things happen he’s the first one to step up. He’s always trying to live up to his brother’s example and constantly trying to deal with a past that’s been torn apart more times than most characters. He’s lost his family on a number of occasions (in his early childhood, in Mutant X, all the times the X-men have died/disappeared, and a few other times.) He’s been killed and brought back and he’s still a strong leader and character. He knows he wants a normal life, but knows he can’t have it, so he fights to win the respect of humankind as a member of the X-men and as the leader of X-factor (or he did at one time or another.)
Please…has to be Captain America!!!
my favorite marvel character is thor. he is so honorable and virtuous.
I love Spider-Man. A geeky kid that through tragic events realizes his potential to use his abilities to help others at the sacrifice of himself and sometimes relationships. All the drama.
I love many characters in the Marvel world, but my absolute favorite, is Colossus. I just love his character and not just becuase I tend to favor the bigger and stronger characters in any story or team (Me, being a bigger, stronger person myself), but I love how he is not some raving maniac with emense power, going around crushing heads and throwing cars around in a blind rage like the Hulk would. There is no rage in Colussus unless there has to be. He might show a little of his rough side, but him being so close to his sister, and really into Painting (also, two characteristics that reflect myself), he displays there there is a soft, gentle side to him, and I love that! I am a 6′3″, 444lb Samoan man, former boxer/football player/bouncer/body guard. I have a look that would but Wolverine’s toughness to shame. I demand people’s attention when I speak, and not by force, but because I have ‘mana, I have presence. I feel that I relate to Colossus in many ways. He is the ‘gentle’ giant with the destructive potential that not many have. I love that he is ‘Super’ strong. People tell me all the time, Hulk would kick his but, Hulk is way STRONGER! But I believe, that the stronger of any two, is the one who has the most control over his strengths. And that is why Colossus is the Best!!! Thank You Marvel for creating such a wonderful person.
I would have to say wolverine he is the just the awsome
i have to say it magneto is one of the most powerful mutant of all??? can control matal of all size n his head is troteched by a halmet that can block that power of mutants that can cotntrol his mind
Spiderman is cool!
my favorite character is wolverine
I like Wolverine
Favorite All-Time Marvel character is the Amazing Spider-Man. It’s been said thousands of times, but Lots of people can relate to Peter Parker because of his everyman appeal. Boldly enough, the guy’s also a reminder that life is not fair–nor is it really meant to be. He makes the best of his situation and does the best he can with what limited resources he’s usually (in the duration of the earlier years of the character) has had.
This is all the while dodging tentacles, jilted ex-lovers, threatening ex co-workers, psychotic best friends, and the Mob. He does it because well, he has to. It’s his legacy. What else is so entertaining other than one of the neatest outfits in all of comics is Spidey’s signature wit. Arguably he’s utiliized this, in spite of his superhuman strength as an augmentation of sorts–simmer down his own fears as well as psyching out his opponents to severely entertaining levels.
Then there’s his rogue’s gallery, one of the greatest collection of memorable foes in all of comics.

SPIDER-man is the best of the best of the best
Spider-man is the best superhero ever! I love everything about it since i was 3 of 4. I even see the old shows of him to this day and, hes the best to put it short. Period.
