In case you missed it the other night, HBO revealed this slick new trailer for A Game of Thrones during the premier of Big Love.
The trailer goes for “dark” by seating characters in a dimly lit stone setting while using voiceovers to reveal whispered pieces of conversation or a characters inner-most thought.
HBO describes the show:
“Summers span decades. Winters can last a lifetime. And the struggle for the Iron Throne has begun. [...] Kings and queens, knights and renegades, liars, lords and honest men…all will play the ‘Game of Thrones.’
Winter is coming soon to HBO.”
