Spoiler alert! The plot of Lionsgate’s new Conan reboot has been revealed in a solicitation for the upcoming comic book tie-in from Dark Horse. While I won’t reveal any of the spoileriffic details here, you can read them – and see some art from the comic – at BleedingCool.com.
Details regarding the film, planned for an August release, have been hard to come by. Beyond a few leaked photos and a none too informative teaser trailer, there has been little else to go on until this week. (At least we get to see Conan actor Jason Momoa in action on HBO’s A Game of Thrones where he plays Khal Drogo.) We’ll keep looking for more details. In the meantime get to know Conan before you see the movie with volume one of DelRey’s three volume set of collected Conan tales: The Coming of Conan the Cimmerian. Now is the perfect time to familiarize yourself with one of fantasy’s greatest heroes.
