I'm one of the contributing artists to BASH UE and other BASH games. I can't stress enough that the ease of initiation with this system is unparalleled, not only for teaching children how to play, but also bringing non-RPG-experienced folks to the table. They just want to get to the story, not get bogged down in the mechanics. BASH makes the technical side of the experience the background, not the focus, of gameplay. It's great!

well put sir! Morrison is on to some real big concepts, but maintains a humor throughout his work. I love the quote of him saying the Sea Guy is his Watchmen. And now he gets to make action comics.
