Event Video: Legion by Brandon Sanderson

New York Times bestselling author Brandon Sanderson may be out on the road supporting his new Mistborn novel, The Alloy of Law, but at his events he is reading from a new work called Legion!

Legion is a 20,000-word novella that will be published by Subterranean Press next year. It features one of the more interesting characters I’ve read, a genius detective / private investigator who compartmentalizes his various abilities into the form of “aspects,” each one with their own personality. I’ve never seen split-personalities done this way. The novella is also highly entertaining, amusing on many levels.

Brandon decided to read from the novella, as he prefers to read from a work in progress and obviously can’t read from A Memory of Light. Before he does so though, he talks about his work on the last Wheel of Time novel, where he is at in the writing of it, how Robert Jordan’s final scene will be added, etc. If you are a Wheel of Time fan you may want to watch this.

Here is video of Brandon talking about his work on the last Wheel of Time novel as well as reading from Legion! Enjoy!

The Alloy of Law by Brandon Sanderson is in fine bookstores today!
