Our 2012 Best Bets: Scott Sigler’s ‘Nocturnal’

We’re continuing our discussion of some of 2012’s most hotly anticipated books today with Scott Sigler’s Nocturnal.

Scott Sigler made waves in 2005 when he became the first author to podcast a novel in its entirety. The novel, EarthCore, quickly found an audience and Sigler skyrocketed in popularity. Half a dozen more novels followed, including 2010’s Ancestor: a science fiction horror story that combined cutting edge genetic research and old fashioned monster movie thrills.

Sigler’s upcoming novel Nocturnal sounds like it’s going to be just as exciting. Here’s what the author said:

Nocturnal is an action-packed, monster-mashing throwback to 80s buddy-cop movies. Part horror story, part police procedural, part on-the-edge evolutionary biology, the book takes the reader on a horrifying thrill-ride through — and under — the streets of San Francisco.”

Look for Nocturnal in April!
