It’s Here: Your First Look at Ridley Scott’s ‘Prometheus’

Courtesy of the official Prometheus Facebook page, here’s the trailer from what many believe to be Ridley Scott’s ALIEN prequel. I see a few downright familiar images – the Space Jockey and his chair, the derelict ship – and a lot of stuff that certainly seems to be in the spirit of ALIEN. With John Carter, The Dark Knight Rises, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey ,and now Prometheus, 2012 is beginning to look like one heck of a year for SF/F cinema!

I’m sure that there are worst things that can come out of Ridley Scott’s mind. But when there’s a state of emergency going on inside my head, I’m sure that the way the globe’s perspective makes it seem like the world is going to the space between the mind’s perspective and it’s voices.
