Comic Con 2012: Are You Preparing?

suvudu-2011

The life of a the geek knows no boundaries. We travel into the past; we travel into the future. We travel beneath the Earth; we travel into space. We visit as many different worlds as there are stars in the sky. It is the wondrous advantage of having imaginations that go anywhere, at any time.

There are some places we don’t have to use our imaginations for though. We can visit them, be amazed at the plethora of aliens and creatures and cultures intermixed, be in danger for our lives at times, and still live to tell about it. One such place is Comic Con in San Diego, CA!

My writing peer Matt Staggs will be attending the convention this July 2012, bringing all of the geeky goodness to Suvudu.com. If you can go, go. It is worth it and something I believe every fan of books, comic books, movies, and gaming should attend at least once in their lives. I mean, look at that picture above. That picture never would have happened and I wouldn’t be standing next to the likes of George R. R. Martin and Christopher Paolini without Comic Con. And they are only two of hundreds and hundreds of noteworthy professionals wanting to meet and talk shop.

The reason for this post is a simple one:

Comic Con sells out every year and months and months in advance of the actual show. Therefore, if you are going to go, start planning now and buy your tickets early!
