Our friend Ari Marmell and over a dozen other fine authors of speculative fiction have banded together for a web-spanning super contest that offers readers opportunities to win tons of signed books.
The contest is called “Crossing the Streams”, and all you’ve got to do is to drop by any participating author’s site to enter one of his or her signed books. That’s not all, though: every time put your name in the proverbial hat, you’re also entered in a grand prize drawing to win a full set of signed books from all of the participating authors. That’s a huge stack of novels, all signed and ready for your shelves.
So why are all of these authors giving away their books? Marmell described it as a great opportunity for fans to find some new favorite authors.
“Once the idea occurred to me, it seemed to be a win-win situation,” said Marmell. “We make a number of fans really happy with some free books, and we introduce readers and authors who might otherwise never have crossed paths.”
