BAMMO! SYNC! New SF Series Comes to YouTube

safe_image
YouTube is moving beyond its original origins as a platform for user-generated content and into a new era that will pit its own original content against the offerings of traditional television. One of its newest programs is SYNC, a science fiction program from Corridor Digital. Corridor came to the attention of a lot of gamers last year for their Battlefield 3 commercial collaboration with Freddie Wong.

SYNC, created for YouTube’s BAMMO channel, is a science fiction action thriller about a special agent/body snatcher who teams up with a teenaged hacker to stop the machines and forces of evil from taking over the planet. In a twist on the web series format, a parallel program will provide a concurrent “behind the scenes/making of” program that documents the journey the Corridor Digital team take in their most ambitious project to date.

You can watch the first episode of SYNC here (Warning: NSFW/Offensive language). When you’re done, click here and watch the first “Behind the Scenes” segment.

Note: A previous version of this post stated that Wong had collaborated with Corridor Digital in the creation of SYNC. He did not.
