Set in the world of the comic book, the player takes the role of Lee Everett, a convict whose chance for redemption arrives when the world is overrun by the living dead. Everett’s adventure runs parallel with the story told in the comic books, and Everett crosses paths with some of its characters.
Rather than follow the zombie gamer pack and release a shoot-em-up action game, the team at Telltale created an interactive storytelling experience designed to be played in monthly installments. While it may not be immediately apparent, the choices the player makes in each episode will ultimately impact the way the game ends.
Episode One: A New Day is set to release tomorrow on XBOX Live Marketplace.
