Oh, those crazy Russians. A group of fun-loving young people dressed in zombie costumes swarmed a St. Petersburg en masse for an unannounced “zombie carnival”. Attendance was reported to be around a hundred revelers. Local authorities are said to have tolerated the undead shindig for about an hour before commanding the shambling hordes to disperse. With flash mobs having recently gained a poor reputation for acts of looting and random violence, it’s nice to see one that’s all in fun…even if it’s a little ghoulish.
