It all started with the “Breaking Bad” Walter White action figure I bought on impulse while my wife was shoe-shopping several weeks ago. From there, it was just a hop, skip and a jump to purchasing all of the first wave of the “Star Wars” Black Series Six Inch Action Figures. I mean, my love for “Star Wars” predates my “Breaking Bad” fixation by several decades, and if I’ve got love enough for Walter White to purchase his likeness then it’s a slap in the face not to pay homage to Luke, R2-D2 and company in a similar fashion. I went on a little bit of an action figure spree this weekend and bought (among other things) two of the new Star Wars “Black” series action figures. They’ve got two lines, one 3.75″ and the other 6″. I went for the big guys, specifically the Sandtrooper and R2-D2, both part of the first wave of figures.I was momentarily possessed with the impulse that I should keep these guys in their boxes, but what fun is that?
