After writing his epic historical novel Pride of Carthage, David Anthony Durham wrote an epic fantasy trilogy titled Acacia. War With the Mein, The Other Lands, and The Sacred Band comprise the trilogy and it has gotten rave reviews on fantasy blogging websites, Amazon, and B&N.

There is some great epic fantasy books being published this year by some of the best in the genre!
There are even a few debut epic fantasy writers. Peter Orullian is one of them. He has most certainly written an epic fantasy, a large sprawling tale told with almost a dozen point of view characters. In support of that book, The Unremembered, Peter stopped by the University Bookstore in Seattle WA on April 18, 2011 to talk about his debut novel and life in general as a published writer.
