kickass002 (1)I have  always liked movies and books that track the rise of a hero. I find the transformation from regular guy to warrior inspirational. Having been that regular guy for forty years, I can completely relate – at least to the feeling of powerlessness. Isn’t there a part of us all that secretly hopes to stumble upon a catalyst of some sort that will empower us to become the best we can be? Who doesn’t hope to meet a wise old sage who will set us upon the path to Jedi-hood, for example?
