We started on January 6 when I asked you what the next big movie franchise based on a science fiction or fantasy novel/series might be. Our readers nominated about a dozen titles. In part two, I narrowed down these titles to a handful of the most popular and asked you to vote for your favorite. Jim Butcher’s Harry Dresden series won hands down. There just wasn’t much competition. In part three, I asked readers to select the Harry Dresden book that they thought might make the best movie. Votes came pouring in, but it was Dead Beat that came in a winner, and it did so by a landslide.
